Langelihle Youth Foundation has partnered with the Cheryl Zondi Foundation as the foundation was established in 2018 to spread awareness and combat abuse is sacred spaces. Cheryl Zondi founded the foundation after her testimony against her abuser in a widely publicised rape trial that garnered public support and vested public interest, which inspired her to create awareness and help others who have experienced the same. Cheryl Zondi has spoken out across the country and across the borders of South Africa and plans to work together with the Langelihle Youth Foundation to instil hope, healing and courage to young girls and women who are victims of gender-based violence.
