Themba Langa is the co-founder and director of the Langelihle Youth Foundation. Through Themba Langa’s entrepreneurial involvement in various aspects of the coal mining industry, Themba Langa has gained invaluable experience that has exposed him well to take advantages of opportunities presented to him in the industry and playing a role and providing similar opportunities for the youth of South Africa.

Born in Johannesburg in 1992 and raised in Pretoria, Gauteng, Themba Langa has been exposed to many young people in need for job opportunities and has left him challenged in terms of playing a role in seeking job opportunities to play a role in improving the unemployment rate in South Africa.

Empowering the youth is important to Themba Langa and lives by the quote, “If not us, then who?”, which encourages those with available resources to play a role in improving the socio-economic status of South Africa. This is a result of Themba Langa’s upbringing, having witnessed the challenges faced by many children and young adults in Soweto first-hand.

Themba Langa uses is passion for people and the youth in making an impact by seeking to improve the lives of many unemployed South Africans and leaving a long-lasting legacy and positive impact in the environments he finds himself in.
